Junaid Khan, Aamir Khan’s son, looks poised for a promising film career after making his YRF debut and embarking on a love story with Sai Pallavi and taking part in the Hindi remake of ‘Love Today.’
After his success with “Laal Singh Chaddha,” Aamir Khan has taken some time away from acting. Meanwhile, exciting developments are underway with Junaid Khan: anticipation is mounting as he prepares to debut in a Yash Raj Films (YRF) flick and now it has been reported that he has secured another project alongside Sai Pallavi (an acclaimed South actress).
An insider provided details to Bollywood Hungama about this development: “Preparations is underway for Junaid’s untitled movie with Sai Pallavi set as his leading lady – his follow up venture after debuting with Yash Raj Films (YRF). Sunil Pandey will direct this anticipated love story.”
Rumors had circulated earlier about Khan Jr. embarking on his film career by acting in the Hindi remake of Tamil hit “Love Today.” Recent reports indicate he may soon be confirmed for this role and an official announcement is upcoming.
Additionally, Khushi Kapoor (Boney Kapoor’s younger daughter) may appear alongside Khan Jr. Phantom Studios will produce this remake project set to kick-start this fall.
“Love Today”, a 2022 Tamil romantic-com drama written and directed by Pradeep Ranganathan, received widespread acclaim and commercial success. Featuring Ivana, Raveena Ravi, Yogi Babu, Sathyaraj and Raadhika Sarathkumar in prominent roles.
Khan will make his YRF debut alongside Sharvari Wagh and Jaideep Ahlawat in “Maharaja”.
Junaid Khan has always shown an avid passion for theatre. He attended an LA drama school for two years to develop his acting abilities before participating in several Mumbai plays.
Aamir Khan noted Junaid’s discretion during auditions; never taking advantage of his father’s star status to secure roles for himself. Despite facing rejection after rejection, Junaid eventually secured his first project.
