Motorola is set to launch the new Moto G54 5G in China on September 5, picking up from where the company left off with its predecessor, the Moto G53 5G. Leaks circulating on the internet hint that the device might feature a MediaTek Dimensity SoC instead of Qualcomm’s processor, representing a significant deviation from the previous model. It should offer common connectivity features such as dual nano-SIM slots, Wi-Fi 802.11 /b/g/n/ac, NFC, and Bluetooth.

The Moto G54 5G’s display could be a 6.5-inch full-HD+ with a 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution. Even more exciting, the screen might come with a refresh rate of 120Hz, providing smooth visuals for users.

Continuing the trend of increasing RAM and storage in today’s smartphones, the Moto G54 5G is reportedly expected to come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage, significantly more than the Moto G53 5G.

As for the camera, reports suggest a dual rear camera setup for the device, featuring a robust 50-megapixel primary sensor equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS). Rumors also indicate a 16-megapixel sensor for the front camera.

Battery-wise, the Moto G54 5G will possibly house a 4,850mAh powerhouse that can cater to users’ requirements comfortably. Charging support specifics are yet unconfirmed, but the possibility of speedy wired charging is anticipated.

From what has been leaked so far, the Moto G54 5G might be available in Black, Blue, and Green color variants, with additional options such as Ambrosia, Ballad Blue, Coronet Blue, and Outer Space potentially joining the roster.
