Zeeshan Ayyub discusses his unique role in “Haddi”, the nature of love, and upcoming projects.

Akshat Ajay Sharma gave this talented actor the chance to demonstrate their acting prowess in “Haddi,” an exceptional film directed by him. Also in it are Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Anurag Kashyap who take on challenging double roles – one being Haddi/Harika for Nawaz while Zeeshan plays Irfan for Zeeshan.
Zeeshan opened up to IANS about the impact of his role and its long-term effects, saying such roles often leave an imprint on actors – though not exclusively negative ones – though not only taking, but also giving back what you take from it; as Zeeshan notes it can transform one in ways you didn’t anticipate before playing such characters can shake and alter you in profound ways.
Now this story of love doesn’t follow a traditional mold; rather it shows how love can take many forms and still remain honest and genuine. Zeeshan said it best: “Love can exist between anyone of any gender; its essence remains simple and pure.”
He shared some behind-the-scenes details. According to him, there were no issues playing such an intense role; in fact, he was pretty thrilled. The only hiccup was scheduling; it took him nearly two months before agreeing.
